How do we work?
1. Analysis of solutions and needs
The configuration of the project and its products consists of various elements, so we will first ask you for any materials, documents, specifications, licenses, and instructions related to project management and infrastructure. Additionally, we will conduct interviews with key employees. Based on the results of the analysis, we will begin developing the necessary documentation related to the configuration management process, which will also include verification and audit guidelines for the configuration.
2. Preparation of documentation
As part of the service, you will receive documentation that includes a description of roles and permissions, as well as a configuration management policy outlining the principles for identifying, controlling, and maintaining configuration items, as well as the structure of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). It will also include descriptions of interfaces and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the process used in ongoing evaluations. With the Configuration Management Plan (CMP), you will gain control over the configuration management process, including oversight of who can make changes to the project, along with tools and scripts that facilitate team members’ work.
3. Report with recommendations
Along with the documentation, we will provide you with our findings and recommendations for further improvement of the systems and more efficient configuration management (assets). It will include, among others, guidelines for creating interfaces with other processes of the IT service management system. 4. Training for employees
We will conduct training on the configuration management process. Each participant will receive training materials and a certificate. What is ITIL?
